Some of that almost looks intentional. Sort of, "What the F---! I have already hit 3 cars, let's see if I can set a record! That Kill Dozer dude had the right idea!"

People in Dallas are the same way on ice. We get a good storm every year or two. Sensible people panic (we know the idiots will be out in force) and hide in our homes. The best part about snow in Dallas is that we have interchange ramps that are too steep to climb when iced. You frequently see people sliding backwards down them.

Yeah its not so much your "skill" when it comes to ice, its 100% your tires. Only chains or to some extent stud tires will allow you to drive safely on an iced slope.

Okay, here's the deal - I live in Portland (sadly) and I will admit, people here have no bloody idea how to drive in snow.

What people watching this are missing is this isn't just snow, it's a steep hill covered in a couple inches of ICE.

Portland is a town that gets snow once a year, but when it does get it, it's really wet and freezes to ice really quickly.

Conversely, because the area usually only gets about a 1/2 inch (when it does snow), the taxpayers will not fund the cities & counties to have proper snow equipment. So, what do you get? You get this mess. You also have residents who, when ODOT gets on the TV & radio and says "Hey - stay home, we can't maintain the roads," think it's a great time to head to the store and get a gallon of milk.

And if you think this is ridiculous, you should have been in town last Christmas, when we got about 18" of heavy, thick wet, icy snow.

I grew up in Colorado. I have a 1996 Ford Bronco that I know how to drive in snow. But nothing stops ice, and the week we were under snow last Christmas, I stayed my arse at home.

It looks like a sheet of ice, not 3-4 inches of snow. if it was just snow, the sliding cars would leave tracks. They also wouldn't slide sideways like that. I live in new England and we get all kinds of crazy weather like this. Looks like snow that changed to freezing rain... and then it got cold and froze.

3-4 inches of snow and that's it?? I live in Winnipeg and can tell you from experience, that's child's play. Tires do make a huge difference though, and if this is in Portland, probably not as many there. Also, the drivers look like Morons. 4wd only helps you get out of a jam and helps your traction when you start to speed up. Your turning actually gets worse. Braking is the same. Wow, hard to watch.
